Swipe your way
to more space.

Gigback shows your photo library one picture at a time. Left marks it for the bin, right keeps it. Nothing is deleted until you confirm.

For iPhone. Requires iOS 26.

Drag the photo, or use the arrow keys.

It finds what you
stopped seeing.

A scan sorts your library into groups on your iPhone, with the best shot already chosen. You pick what goes.

  • Duplicates

The same photo saved more than once. The best copy stays.

  • Duplicate videos

The same video saved more than once.

  • Similar shots

Runs of near-identical photos. The best one stays.

  • Blurry and bad shots

Too dark, blown out, out of focus, or taken by accident.

  • Documents and receipts

Receipts, papers and photos of screens.

  • Old screenshots

Screenshots and screen recordings older than 30 days.

  • Large videos

Videos of 50 MB and up, largest first.

Analysis uses Apple’s on-device frameworks and carries on in the background while your iPhone charges. Favourites and photos in your albums are never suggested for the bin.

Nothing goes until
you say so.

Every photo you swipe away waits in a review bin. Deleting is always the last step, and always yours.

  1. Swipe left

The photo goes into the review bin. It is still in your library.

  2. Look it over

Open the bin to see everything you marked and the space it adds up to. Tap anything to keep it after all.

  3. Confirm in Photos

iOS asks before anything is deleted, then holds it in Recently Deleted for 30 days.

Keep the moment.
Lose the weight.

Gigback saves a smaller copy of a photo or video to your library, then puts the original in the bin for you to look over.

The original

Waits in the bin. Delete it once you are happy with the copy.

The smaller copy

Saved to your library, and to the Gigback Compressed album, with everything that made it yours:

  • Albums
  • Favourite
  • Location
  • Date taken

Big batches run on their own

A large run keeps going after you lock your iPhone, with its progress on the Lock Screen.

Room to work

A copy is written before its original goes, so Gigback checks for space first and stops cleanly if the disk fills.

Nothing pulled from iCloud

Bulk runs skip originals kept only in iCloud, so a full iPhone is never filled further to make files smaller.

When the space comes back

Space returns once you delete the originals and empty Recently Deleted. Gigback shows an estimate before you start.

Your library stays
on your iPhone.

Every scan and every compression happens on the device. There is no account to make and nothing to upload.

No servers.

Gigback has none. Your photos, and what the scan learns about them, never leave your iPhone.

No tracking.

No analytics, no advertising and no third-party code in the app.
